OldFolder is an application that revives the pre-Leopard dock's hierarchical menu interface for folders.
Set by browsing to the folder.
To create additional "folders", just duplicate the application (with a different name) and launch, as OldFolder keeps track of which folder to open based on the launched applications name.
Just launch and select the folder you wish to have in the Dock. If you want multiple "folders" in the Dock, just duplicate the application and rename it something useful, like "OldFolder - Apps". Click (or left-click) to have folder's menu show.
Mac OS X 10.5
NOTE: Apple fixed the issue that casued the need for this product, so no further development is planned.
Note: I have gotten many good suggestions, and am trying to implement them as feasible. The two most popular are getting icons next to the folders/files, and being able to click directly on a folder to get it to open. I am trying to figure out how to get the Dock to let me do this, but so far I have not had much luck. I am currently trying to figure out how to get the Finder labels to work. If you happen to know how or have advice as to where to find these answers, please email me.
